Roy Sherwood
Roy Sherwood is the lead planter of Bellbrook Bible Church. He shares responsibility for leading the church and its gatherings, including the primary responsibility for preaching. Roy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Cedarville University in 2008 and his Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2012. He and Bekah have been married since 2009, and they have two daughters, Ellie and Eden. Roy enjoys time with family and friends, preaching, discipling, disc golf, travel, Philadelphia sports, playing guitar, reading, and handcrafting artisan bread. Some of his ministry influences include the verse-by-verse, book-by-book, expository preaching of Calvary Chapel, the discipleship ministries of The Navigators and CCEF, and the writings of John Piper and 9Marks.
Gabe Sallstrom
Gabe Sallstrom is the co-planter of Bellbrook Bible Church. He serves the church by leading music and sharing in the joy of preaching the Word. Gabe graduated from Cedarville University in 2019 with his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Biblical Studies. He is currently working towards his Master of Divinity from Liberty University. Gabe has been married to his lovely wife, Mallory, since 2019 and they have a daughter, Ruth. They live in Bellbrook and enjoy a good trip to the Dairy Shed or Blueberry Cafe. Gabe is a huge Bible nerd and enjoys playing basketball with friends, anything Star Wars, podcasts, books, and spending time with family and friends. His ministry influences include the writing and preaching of John Piper, personal mentoring relationships, discipleship ministries at Cedarville University, and resources from Desiring God, 9Marks, the Bible Project, and The Gospel Coalition.
